Some very fast times comming from later starters, Blair thought they may have a slight advantage of drier rocks which were very slippery.
Kate Rea finishes around 33rd so far. All women now started so we will soon be able to see more finalised split times etc.
Sam McN about 39th at 1st radio 34Min.

Winning time a bit slower than expected. Course setter Julian Dent quote " Gee I'm a bastard arn't I "! Sounds tough out there.

So far Kiwi men doing well compared to Aussies. Simom Uphill should be half way to the 1st radio, Thomas R and Simon J start just over an hour behind Uphill. Patients everyone!

Norway man Magne Daehli new fastest through 1st radio, simon uphill started 8 min behind Magne.

Vanessa dropped to 5th loosing 3 minutes but looking strong into the last part of the course

Uphill is on 27 mins to that split, fastest kiwi so far, Jack V took 32 minutes.

Vanessa looking very good, just punched the tricky 2nd spectator control with no problems. Still in 4th or 5th

Here comes Vanessa.... the crowd go wild... 63min 5th so far but two wome could potentially beat her, it'll be close
