Choice Bryan! Well done!
I know you can do it in Google Maps somehow, but it would be great if you could actually draw the outline of the map rather than just a point. This means when you have overlapping maps you can clearly see it.

Actually, it's quite simple to create an outline using either Google Maps or Earth and I've tested this out for a few maps. However, to capture the map area takes time for each map and at the moment I would like to concentrate on actually getting the map scanned and saving the map details. Unless someone wants to help me out?

You couldn't do that Simon, then NW and Auckland wouldn't be able to hold A grade events at Woodhill and just give the map a new name...
