In brief, we of Taranaki are setting up to run a series of 5-6 short events (29,30 & 31 December 2009) then a traverse (4-6 maps) on New Years day. The plan is for 3 courses at each of the short events with a fastest time expected to 15 minutes on each course. The traverse can be run as either a solo or relay with about 2 hours expected as the fastest time.
As this is pretty late notice, we need to know is that there are reason numbers of people able/willing to come to this event worthwhile?
Lets have your thoughts/comments/questions?

Turkey Trot, yes. We've lost some bits of the former TT maps to lifestyle blocks but there is enough of old, some new and a bits of pathways/streets to put it together.
By the way I forgot to mention above that we'll also do a bit of social organising.

No, not in regrettably.
Sounds awesome, what about a three day weekend in late Jan/early Feb (just invent a long weekend). Otherwise I will be gutted to miss it.

Sounding a bit like Dragons Den.
Yep I'm in. Always enjoyed the TT, 10 years ago WOC ran a Town Belt Traverse, the idea of linking up small maps into something longer strikes me as good fun. Takes me back to my rallying days.

Fleetwood Mac have just confirmed they will be playing their only NZ gig at the Bowl of Brook-something in New Plymouth on December 29. Will there be a supporting O programme?
