Show Profile  Tane CambridgePosted: 16 January 2010, 7:38 PM
I am flying into the Napier/Hastings airport on Friday evening (arrive 5:10). I am looking to find a ride from the airport to the first race on Friday night.

Any ideas, offers would be gratefully accepted. Email is tanecambridge AT gmail dot com

Thanks in advance!

So much for starting at 8pm!

Show Profile  DMjuniorPosted: 18 January 2010, 8:09 PM
Yea we apologies for that but we came to a decision that it would be better to run when there is light. What time do you start Greg?

I'm 7:55, Claire 7:41. If its raining I doubt we will make it by 8.

On the bright side, if it rains, it will wash away the tears.

Hi Paul I and others.

If there is any of you, who has got a tent and two sleeping pads, you would like to lend to us, we would be very gratefull.
We promise to take care of it!

We are planning to stay at top 10 in Hastings. So if any one has got 2 spare seats in their car, that would also be apreciated.

You can contact us on:
kasper@fjellerup.dk
or by phone: 226804424

We really hope one of you can help us!

Best regards
Kasper and Andreas.

Simply... the best multi-day orienteering I've been to for a long long time. For the arrangements, physical and technical challenge, and atmosphere.

And wait till you hear about the green jersey result for the elite men. Fastest cumulative time over a nominated leg in each race plus the finish splits.

Yeah outstanding effort. Great maps, organisation and innovation. Really cool atmosphere.

If next year it has twice as many people and has an event during the middle of the day next to a nice river we can swim in then my ideal orienteering event would have happened!

Thanks Duncam, Kate, family and friends.
